Topic: Longer Playtime
Date: 2007-02-01 00:00:00
Message: "Emmett is getting so big! Each day dad gives him time to play on his blanket on the floor. And each day, the amount of time that Emmett likes to stay and play is getting a little longer. Sometimes he just sits and smiles, or sits and talks to himself. He's such a strong little boy. We've decided that once he figures out how to crawl, we won't be able to catch him! Look for a new video feature on this site soon!"

Topic: I am MAN!
Date: 2007-01-31 00:00:00
Message: "Go ahead and say it with me: ""I am MAN!"" If you haven't seen the commercial for Burger King's Texas Double Whopper, it's worth a trip to their website. This burger, who's wrapper advertises it being ok to ""eat face first"" is deffinately not a burger you'll want to eat if you're only ""slightly"" hungry. Even on a mostly empty stomach, it's still a beast to finish. Today after we visited Mom at school, dad and Emmmett got a chance to visit the local Burger King and check out one of these new Texas burgers. While Emmett could only smell the fries, (too young to actually eat any), dad got to enjoy the burger to himself. Let me just say, I almost wasn't able to finish it! But alas, I conquered, and highly recommend it to anyone who's seriously hungry!"

Topic: Watching the Squirrels
Date: 2007-01-29 00:00:00
Message: "A few days ago we tossed out some old bread onto the lawn behind our appartment. It didn't take long for the birds, rabbits, and squirrels to find the bread. Today we spent time looking out the window at the squirrels, watching them eat the bread. There were several squirrels that look like they've had their fair share of bread; they were big and fat!"
