| Topic: fork or fingers, which is faster? |

| Message: Tonight, we went to Chili's for dinner. Emmett sat on daddy's lap and scribbled on the children's menu he was given by the hostess (honestly does he really look like he is capable of actually coloring and not eating the crayons?). He ate a few black beans from the southwest eggrolls we ordered and kept thinking he wanted to dip his fingers in the ranch sauce, which he didn't really seem to like. When our dinner came into the high chair went Emmett, so he could enjoy some french fries (hand over fist), corn(a few pieces here and ther)and chicken (yeah right mom). As he grew tired of the high chair he reached over to mom's plate and took my fork! He played with it a little poking at his placemat and then started actually spearing food and getting it to his mouth, or spearing it and then removing it from the prongs and sticking it in his mouth with his fingers. Either way, it was entertaining! |

| Topic: Doing the Dishes |

Message: Tonight after dinner Emmett was playing with his piggy bank in the living room. That is, until he saw the dishwasher door open. Just like that the boy shot to his legs and ran across the room to check it out. He normally likes to play with the silverware in the bin, or push the racks in and out of the dishwasher. Unfortunately for him, tonight the dishwasher was empty, all except a few Tupperware dishes.  |

| Topic: Walking The Toys |

| Message: This afternoon Emmett dug around in his toy box and got out one of his toys he received for Christmas. His toy of choice this afternoon was a big yellow and red lady bug that sings and lights up. This toy has wheels and a string to pull it with, but until tonight he's never really been interest in pulling it.  Tonight, however, he grabbed the little yellow string attached to the toy and drug it all over the house.  We even captured new video of him pulling it around, so be sure to check out his list of videos. |

| Topic: Mmm Tasty Shea Butter |

| Message: This afternoon while we were making pizza for dinner, Emmett was sitting in the living room playing with the cap to the bottle of baby lotion.  Normally he likes to open and close the lid and sometimes stick his finger into the opening in the top of the bottle. When I looked over at him I was just in time to see him pull his finger out of the top of the bottle, and stick his lotion covered finger into his mouth. Expecting to see him make a sour face at the taste of the lotion, I was suprised to see him continue to suck his fingers until all of the lotion was gone. |
