The ultrasound technician asked if we wanted to know if it was a boy or a girl, and I said 'no thanks' and Amy said 'oh come on let's find out'. In a compromise, we decided to have the tech write down the baby's gender, stick it into an envelope, and thus far it has sat for more than a week un-disturbed on our dining room buffet. Maybe we should open it and take a peek on new-years-eve? Or maybe we should just keep it sealed until after baby arrives?
