Topic: A Hot Little Boy
Date: 2007-04-25 00:00:00
Message: "This afternoon we decided that Emmett needed a fan in his room. It only seemed fair that if Amy and I got to have a fan in our bedroom, that Emmett, who generates heat and breaks out in a sweat as easily as we do, should have one too. Poor thing. This afternoon he had sweat dripping from him. So we went and got him a fan from the store. We brought him home, snuck him into his bed, and turned on his fan. In a few minutes he started to cool off, and fell back asleep."

Message: "This weekend since the weather was nice, we took Emmett on a trip down to Elephant Rocks State Park. We took several pictures of mom and dad holding Emmett under a few ""elephant"" size bolders. One we walked all around/over the boulders, we built a fire at one of the picknic areas, and had bbq for dinner before returning home."

Topic: Cabelas
Date: 2007-04-14 00:00:00
Message: "Today was the Grand Opening Weekend of the new Cabelas Outdoor Shop in St. Louis. Knowing there was going to be thousands of people braving the cold, rainy weather to visit the shop, we packed our gear and headed up to see all the excitement too. Emmett was wide awake as we walked through the store. He was so fascinated by all the lights, fish tanks, colorful wall decorations, stuffed animals and all the people. About an hour of walking through the store, he put his head down and fell asleep, clearly exhausted from the excitement."
