| Topic: Decorating the Christmas Tree |

Message: Well, we waited until December 23rd to put the Christmas Tree up, we just weren't sure we were up to the fight of putting every ornament up not just the to decorate the tree, but also to replace them every time Emmett felt they should be moved. After a trial run evening with Omi and Grumpy the night they put up their tree we decided we could probably handle our tree being up. Emmett didn't try to play with the tree at the grandparents so we thought he'd be good to go at home.  So, when Chris got the tree up and lights out, Emmett thought he should help. It was so cute, I had to snap lots of pictures of it. He followed daddy around the tree holding on to the end of the light strand. Then, he just played with the pile of lights hanging from the tree as daddy put them up.  In an effort to cut down on ornament replacement, we didn't decorate the bottom half of the tree, it looks funny, but it doesn't wear mom and dad out so much.  Because Emmett likes lights so much he has tried to unplug the tree a couple of times, so we now have the plugs blocked. When he wakes up every morning, he goes to the living room and claps at the tree, because he thinks every toy, and light-up item needs a clapper to start it. So we plug all the holiday lights in and he's happy as can be.  |

| Topic: Sledding in the Snow! |

| Message: Saturday was the first time St. Louis received it's first real snowfall this winter. Emmett kept going over to the windows of the kitchen to look at the snow falling down from the sky. By the time it had finally stopped, we had just over 5 inches of snow on the ground! After lunch we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Beeson's house and played in the snow. Emmett was playing in the living room when he emptied out a little white basket so that he could climb in and be pulled around the room. Seeing this, I knew it was time to take him out sledding. (check out his videos of him sledding)  After we got him all bundled up in this coat, hat and mittens we went outside and took him sledding up and down the hills until it was time to go back inside. While we were outside, Uncle Kevin had made a large snowman, which towered over Emmett when he stood next to it!    |

Message: This past weekend Santa Claus, Mrs Claus and one of Santa's elf's came to visit Emmett.   Santa reached way down into his bag, and gave Emmett a candy cane, which he loved!   |

| Topic: Sharing Monster Cookies |

Message: This past weekend Grandma and Grandpa Bell made Monster cookies and Emmett got to take some home. Monster cookies contain everything from oatmeal, raisins, peanuts, chocolate chips and more!  He liked them so much, he wanted to share! |
