Emmett's hit another developmental milestone!
For the past two weeks he has asked to go "night-night" at bed time. After our evening routine and snuggle time, he just asks "night-night" and once monkey is in hand and the blankets are covering him, he fine. He does has for his fisher-price light and music show to be turned on(he also calls this 'night-night', probably because we turn it on as we say tell him that at bedtime).
He has also been sleeping through the night for the last week. Some mornings we even have to wake him up! Mom and dad are very happy about these new accomplishments, and their much more rested as well.

Last summer Emmett received a collection of small rubber duck squirt toys from Grandma and Grandpa Bell, after they attended a wedding where the toys were a favor, thus the first word of 'duck'.
Then, on Valentine's Day there was a duck that belongs to the collection, in a top hat with a heart, on our front door wreath when we got home from being out. It wasn't from Grandma and Grandpa, mom and dad were clueless about it's origin, so after washing it in hot soapy water Emmett was allowed to play with it.
Then, last weekend when we got home after an afternoon out again, a duck dressed in a green suit and top hat was on the wreath. Grandma and Grandpa Bell had no idea where it came from, and this time we extended our list of suspects, Uncle Thomas--no, Heather--no, Uncle Jeremy and Jessica--no. Maybe the lady downstairs?
Well, after going to Grandma and Grandpa Beeson's for Emmett's Easter Basket, Emmett got really excited and giggly and he and daddy walked toward the door. Chris finally figured out the cause when he looked at the wreath and saw a duck in bunny ears. Is it the guy across the hall? Maybe O.J. and Chris and Lizard?

This year we went to the Eureka Community Center to participate in the annual Easter Egg Hunt. At the Community Center, Emmett got to have his picture taken with the Easter Bunny! He wasn't too sure about sitting on the bunny's lap though.
Then Emmett got to go outside and hunt for easter eggs. It was very cold outside, but we enjoyed hunting for the eggs.
After we filled our bucket to the top, we headed back inside to see what was in our eggs. Behold- there were snacks in there!
When we were all done at the Easter Egg Hunt, we got to bring our eggs back home and continue to play with them inside:
