| Topic: Jumbo Count -That Should Last a Week |

| Message: Today we went shopping at Sam's Club to stock up our refrigerator. While we were walking though the isles, we found Emmett's current favorite snack item: fruit snacks! At Sam's Club, we found a box of 72 count snack bags, nearly 3 times more in the box than a normal sized box. Amy and I looked at each other and agreed this larger sized box ought to last us nearly a full week!  Here's where I need to digress and tell you another story. A few nights ago, Emmett got into the pantry and brought me a bag of fruit snacks. I told him it was alright to have them, so I helped him open them and eat them. After the bag was empty, he disappeared around the corner, and came back shortly with another bag of fruit snacks. I told him one was enough for tonight, and so he turned around and walked away. I watched him, though, sit down in the floor and figure out how to open the bag of snacks for himself. Now we know to put the snacks up high enough so he can't reach them. Just relying on him not to be able to open the bags in his own isn't an option anymore. Thus, if we're not cautious, he'll eat the entire jumbo pack in a week! |
