| Topic: Taking A Walk and Chasing Puppies |

| Message: Yesterday we took advantage of the nice weather, and went for a walk in the park after dinner. To change our scenery a little, we went to Route 66 Park for a walk. As soon as Emmett got out of his car seat he took off down the path. He got about 15 feet, and then stopped, turned around and ran the opposite direction saying "puppy - puppy - puppy!" Because the weather was so nice, lots of people were out walking their dogs in the park. Emmett just gravitates to little puppies! We were at the park probably an hour, and we walked less than 100 feet, on account of chasing puppies back and forth in different directions. When there wasn't a puppy on the trail, Emmett took great interest in walking off the trail, and playing in the mud and dirt. One time I looked down, and he had his fingers smack in the middle of a deer print. 16 months old, and he's tracking deer for me! |
