| Topic: Cold Weather Camping |

| Message: This past weekend we wanted to try and sneak in one more weekend of camping before the weather got too cold and we couldn't go anymore for the season. We packed up our tent, new air mattress, warm blankets and headed out to the woods. We cooked foil packs for dinner, (which Emmett loved) peach cobbler for desert, and pancakes, eggs and bacon for breakfast. Emmett went to bed about 10pm, and we were a little concerned he'd be too cold in the 40 degree weather. After a short while of sleeping next to him, we realized it wasn't going to be a problem. In fact, he was going to keep us warm! He was sweating under the covers! Once the rain stopped drizzling on Saturday evening, the clouds parted, and gave way to a beautiful starry night. |
