| Message: "This afternoon Amy and I suspected that Emmett is trying to cut his second tooth. He has a small temperature, has been playing with his gums/existing-tooth with his hands, and would not settle down for bed tonight. It was after several hours of trying to get him to fall asleep (we could tell he was clearly tired by the way he was putting his head down and wanting to be held) that we finally realized that he hadn't gotten a bath. It's been several weeks since Emmett has gone to bed without a bath, and he just wasn't going to stand to skip a bath tonight! After a quick rinse with warm water, he snuggled in and went right to sleep. Maybe we should try for a bath right after dinner from now on? -haha" |
