| Message: This Memorial Day weekend Emmett and his dad went to the Beeson Family Reunion Campout down at Meremac State Park in Sullivan MO.  We slept in tents, ate lots of food and spent a lot of time around the campfire. (Mom would tell you we still smell like camp smoke even after several showers.) While we were there, Emmett got to walk some of the dogs the other families brought. One of his favorites was to walk "Max". (I don't have any pictures of him walking him--but he was cute!)  We took some time to walk around the park and visit the Fisher Cave. While we didn't go in, we did take a hike through the park, and found another cave we could go into! We also played some games like the Egg-'n-Spoon Relay game...Emmett only dropped the egg once! And as a prize, he got to eat a Peanut Butter Cup treat!  While we were packing up to leave, Emmett was fast asleep, and missed saying goodbye to all his new friends. So when he woke up, he took a picture and wanted to send it to them! |
