RING RING... "hello?" "STEPHY! Where ya at??" (It had taken me 25 minutes to scrape off my window.. I hadn't planned on that) "Grandpa, I'm turning on your street now I will be there in a second" "Well, I got news for you - Emmitt Micheal" (At this point I'm thinking oh no... He's losing it, doesn't even remember my name! ;) "Emmitt Michael.. what are you talking about?" "Amy had a baby boy, his name is Emmitt Michael" (OH THANK GOD HE HASN'T LOST IT... wait a minute...) "Did you say Amy had the baby?" "yep, she sure did honey" "Okay, well I can't see out my windshield right now so I will talk to you in a second when I get to your house" (because although I spent 25 minutes scrapping off my windshield ice magically appeared all over it when I started hitting my top speeds of 40 on the highway)... as I got off the phone I was thinking... what is today... ah dang it... it's not my birthday AND she didn't have a girl!! :) hehehe but God bless it... he is too freaking cute I'm gonna have to forgive you! HAHAHA ;) just kidding! Congratulations and I want to come by when things are calmed down... I owe ya a Rag. Ann and Andy! (That's right... I didn't know how to spell raggity... raggidy... you know what I mean :) |
